See me sling soda//(Soda=Coke, **not to mention good alliteration )
Cause the extra 4 in the split is mixed..its really 36//
(in a 40 oz. 4 oz. of foam is counted..which is really 36...which is also a kilo of coke, which refers to the last bar about slingin soda lol)

You can tighten ya circle or boa constrict//(By now we should all know a boa constricter is a snake that tightens around its enemies to kill them.**which means taking out the weakest links in your inner circle or friends)

While you was lighten ya purple I was over the scripts// (**weak friends were smoking he was writing)

(**He basically explains his course in the game with destructive rap and how he was striving to get it right but eventually "got over the limp)


Watch how they mugs drop when they see my verbals able//
(This refers to the last scene in Usual Suspects, when the character VERBAL Kent who was thought to be disabled the whole movie, leaves prison and his limp dissapears...and the police realizing what happened drop their coffee..or mugs. **Which in reference to lupe means watch their jaws drouble when they see what my rhymes can do)

(Referencing when he was poor he rocked polo and now he rocks chaps..or Ralph Lauren) (**i disagree at this point. It simply means he was sad when he was poor and now he has come up, with clothing allusion thrown every which way...polo...ralph lauren....purple label)


N*ggaz brown nose they are like Alf to him//
(From the tv series Alf who was an Alien with a brown nose)

Brothers at Interscope are not as Styled as him//
(Talking about the rapper Styles P who was once signed to Interscope)

(Pronounces Serious as "Sears" as in the Sears Tower and John Hancock as in the John Hancock Center..which are 2 famous buildings in Chicago**in his terms he's the "foundation of chi-town)

(**he's so far above them he can see detriot from where he is in chicago, but people not feeling him because their afraid of heights)

(Metaphor compares mixing drugs to his raps..which means he is high of his raps..so high he can see Detroit lol)(***mmmmthats a reach, i think its more how to prepare his food for thought)

(Cents=Scents, he's saying he has to throw of the "scent" of high)(**again i think this is different; it refers to him being high above them and on a building, throwing loose change off the top)

This is top floor, better look out below*//
(**Goes back to "Cents" and the Sears Tower, which is talking about the myth that if you were to throw pennies off the top floor of the sears tower the impact would be so hard you could kill someone if it hit them.)

Pennies from heaven is the same as the semi from the second//
(Saying that the pennies from the sky has the impact as a semi-auto close range again mentioning the myth)(**or rather i semi-truck being dropped from the second floor)

And I reign supreme (Reign=Rain, like a semi auto "rains" bullets)(**I think its more he drops alot of "cents"(making sense) on people)

Turn your umbrellas upside down Did you even catch the change in theme? (Saying turn you umbrellas down so u can catch the change(pennies from prev. bars) in theme..DUDE!) (or saying turn your umbrellas upside down so you can "catch me" "making sense")

(Refers to niggas gangsta leaning but not making enough sense(cents) and lupe shakes them up(shakes the vending machine) everytime he drops a bar(candy bar/rap bar) (startles them))

It's horse in the Porsche// and bricks in the box//
Like mo' money them every time I cop a car//
(refers to the horse on his porshes and the cop cars trading bricks for mo' money")

You see I'm a roller right//
So it might be a Rover, right//
But every time I drop a 'r'(Get off the streets)It's "over" aite//
(possibly my favorite in the whole song, he referes to him being a steam "roller" at the begging and that it might be a range "rover" but every time he drops an r(starts steam rollin) you better get off the streets or its over(taking the r out of rover)


Bet I be in the head like overnight//
Like rollers, right//
(honestly....i don't know. comment with suggestions)


She the chauffeur, right//
So I keep her sober
She don't get Fed Ex //
like overnight//
I am Dolemite//
(refers to the chauffeur not drinking/doing exstacy pills, so she's not "fed ex" or "fedex(shipping service) and dolemite is character protaganist from a movie called dolimite. I've never seen it but I'm gussing theres more reference to that)
